On March 7th at the Covina District Field, the Chino Track team had a meet starting at 8 a.m. and finishing at 6:30 p.m. With many schools from multiple districts competed against each other.
The Lariat interviewed Gael de Anda on how he felt about this upcoming season and he said, “I feel good about this season knowing that I’m going to improve and have a fun experience”. Gael wants to be able to throw 30 feet in shot put and 80 feet for diccus this season.
The Lariat asked Roque Martinez who said “I feel excited for this season because there is a lot of room for improvement. He wants to accomplish this season is to win league and to do well at CIF” this season.
With new coaching staff, there is high hopes for the upcoming season. With season just around the corner, our Cowboys and Cowgirls will be ready for anything that comes their way.
