On October 15, the Chino girl’s tennis team played Chaffey in their Breast Cancer Awareness match. This was the eighth annual Breast Cancer awareness match and the second one with Chaffey.

The purpose of the match was to raise money and awareness for charities that support women with breast cancer. The Cowgirls and Coach Hinkle raised over 750 dollars.

“The charities that we donated to this year are the American Cancer Society and Crystal Roses, which are based in Corona,” said Coach Hinkle. T- shirts are sold at the game and the month prior to help raise money.

There was a good turnout to watch the Cowgirls beat the Chaffey Tigers 13-5 and support women in the fight against breast cancer.
