Lots of changes were made this year with Chino High Schools Annual Homecoming dance. This year a homecoming parade, as well as an all grade level homecoming court, were introduced. These changes made Chino’s students extra excited for the first dance of the 19-20 school year.

The dance was held on September 21st in the quad and went on from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The theme, which was revealed a few weeks prior to the dance, was “Back to the 80s”. There was music, dancing, food, and a photobooth, and even some video games. There was something for everyone to participate in. The turnout was impressive and everyone there seemed to be having a good time.

When asked about the dance, Susana Aguilar said “My favorite part about the dance had to be the music, the dancing, and just the way the dance was setup.” However, she also said “I think ASB did a great job but the themes for our dances should be more modern and fit in with the student’s interests.

Another student attendee, Diego Guerrero stated, “My favorite part was the photo booth. Also, I had a really good time and I really enjoyed it.”  Although Diego enjoyed himself, he said ASB should improve on, “the DJ taking recommendations on music and having more drink options put out. For example, more stations with different varieties of drinks.”
