Incoming Cowboys Sign Up for A Variety of Clubs

This year’s Freshman Fair was held last Wednesday in the gym from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for incoming freshman to sign up for clubs and learn about elective classes they are interested in joining.

Each club and sport had their own booths and were decorated differently to get the incoming freshman’s attention and encourage them to join. Clubs, such as Club Hope, Cool to Be Kind, and many more were present at the event and got many kids signed up. Not only were there clubs, but sports were there as well and having a lot of athletic students join.

When the incoming freshman sign up for the club or sport, they are not always going to get into that specific club or sport but at least they know the students are interested in joining.

The clubs and staff were very pleased to see a lot of people attend the event although they were not all freshman, they have a feeling of what awesome clubs and sports CHS has to offer the students on this campus.

By joining clubs on campus, students become more involved in school life, which motivates others to join them as well.
