Boy’s water polo advanced and qualified for CIF and had their first game on October 30th against Martin Luther King High School.

Unfortunately, the team lost their first round in CIF with a score of 0-17. Players were disappointed, but the crowd kept a positive attitude in support of the team.

Michael Hinkle, Athletics Director, told the Lariat, “After graduating all but one starter from the 2017 team and hiring a new coach, it should have been a rebuilding year. However, the fact that the team qualified is a testament to the team’s hard work and dedication.”

With this loss, boy’s water polo season came to an end.
